Monkfish is the dinner special tonight. I can’t believe we are this lucky to be able to bring this amazing special to your table again. Woo hoo! A mild white fish filet, the monkfish is commonly referred to as poor man’s lobster, due to the texture. 2 sauces are interlaced on top after it is plated. One is a roasted red bell pepper sauce, the other is a roasted golden bell pepper sauce. Yummmm. The side dishes are Yukon gold mashed potatoes and sautéed peas. Saturday’s dinner special is the last day of the New Zealand Blue Nose Sea Bass. We have been so lucky to be able to bring this to the table this week. Again, the quantity is limited so please let Chris know when making your reservation 😁 The mild white fish filet is dusted with flour and pan seared. Frank makes a sauce of lemon, white wine and butter with grape tomatoes. After plated, roasted pine nuts are sprinkled on top. So delicious! The side dishes are Basque rice and hand cut fries. Basque rice is a white rice seasoned with saffron, chicken, chorizo and vegetables. Soup selections are Basque Red Bean and Cream of fresh mushroom. Lamb Shank Weekend starts tonight. Woo hoo! Alberto and Frank team up on this 2 day process to bring the last weekend of the month special Lamb Shank. The Shank is slow roasted on the bone in a red wine reduction sauce. The meat is a fall apart , tender masterpiece. As if that’s not enough, it is placed on top of garlic mashed potatoes then topped with the reduction sauce. If you’re looking for a comfort food tonight, here it is! After a day at the Gooding Basque Picnic, members of the Oinkari’s (Boise’s own professional Basque Dancers) along with Goizalde (a semi-professional dance group visiting from Donostia) danced and sang after a dinner prepared by Aiztan Artean (a local Basque women’s group)

Fearless in running her restaurant how it makes sense to her. And what makes sense to her? It is that YOU are treated with appreciation. Just for fun I'm posting this video from Saturday night. Erik had a full grill of meat he was managing. By the time I got my phone he was almost done. Almost 19 years later, I am still impressed on HOW they actually pull it off. Every. Single. Time. I guarantee you the very last order of the night is just as impressive as the first order of the night. Wow❤️
